EazePro policies
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Codepaper Technologies Inc. collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information when providing EazePro.
Effective and last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Who we are and scope
EazePro is operated by Codepaper Technologies Inc., Unit 20-120 Woodstream Blvd, Vaughan, Ontario L4L 7Z1, Canada. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to info@codepaper.com.
This policy applies to EazePro websites, applications, support, and related services. It does not govern a customer’s own privacy practices or third-party services that a customer chooses to connect.
2. Our role
For account, billing, website, security, and support information, Codepaper determines why and how information is handled. For client, lead, staff, order, job, invoice, and similar information entered by an EazePro customer, the customer controls the business purpose and Codepaper processes that information to provide the service. Individuals should normally direct requests about a customer’s records to that customer.
3. Information we collect
- Account and organization data: name, work email, phone, role, business details, settings, and authentication records.
- CRM and operational data: people, companies, leads, communications, quotes, jobs, events, orders, items, notes, schedules, assignments, delivery details, photos, and proof of delivery.
- Financial data: invoice, payment, refund, receivable, payout, and tip records. Payment card details are handled by payment processors and are not stored by EazePro in full.
- Location data: driver location may be collected when a user enables tracking for an active delivery, subject to device permissions.
- Integration data: identifiers, permissions, tokens, and content needed for services a customer connects.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser details, timestamps, diagnostics, audit activity, and feature use.
- Website demo inquiries: your name, email, business, preferred assistant, requested workflow and optional message. We store these to review and respond to the inquiry, with a hashed source identifier and timestamps for abuse prevention. Submitting a demo inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
- Support and communications: messages, attachments, feedback, and service or marketing preferences.
4. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, operate, and support EazePro.
- Authenticate users, enforce workspace permissions, and protect tenants.
- Process customer instructions, integrations, payments, and notifications.
- Monitor reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot, and improve features.
- Administer subscriptions, respond to requests, and communicate service changes.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with the customer that controls the workspace; authorized users and recipients; service providers listed on our Subprocessors page; services a customer directs us to connect; professional advisers; transaction counterparties in a corporate event; and authorities where lawfully required or necessary to protect rights and safety.
6. Payments, tips, and communications
Payment processors handle payment credentials under their own policies. A vendor controls the business purpose and distribution of tips collected through its payment flow. Customers are responsible for the legal basis and content of messages they send from EazePro, including invoices, reminders, and marketing.
For the EazePro staff SMS program, Codepaper Technologies Inc. collects the mobile number, consent and verification status, opt-out status, message delivery status, and assignment-confirmation activity needed to provide scheduling and work-assignment alerts. We use this information only to operate, secure, support, and document the requested SMS program.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information may be disclosed to messaging providers and carriers only as needed to deliver and support the messages, prevent abuse, comply with law, or follow the user's direction. SMS consent is not transferred to other organizations for their own marketing.
Staff can withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP or disabling SMS alerts in EazePro. See the Staff SMS Consent page and the SMS Terms in our Terms of Service.
7. AI and connected services
If a customer enables an AI feature or connector, relevant information may be sent to that provider to perform the requested action. We aim to disclose the provider and permissions before connection. Customers should limit access to what is necessary and review automated results before relying on them.
8. International processing
We and our service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where providers operate. Information may therefore be subject to laws and lawful access requests in those jurisdictions. We use contractual and organizational measures appropriate to the transfer.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Following cancellation or termination, active customer data is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Protected residual copies may remain in backups for up to 90 additional days and are removed through normal backup rotation. Some records may be retained longer where law or a legitimate legal need requires it.
See our Data Deletion page for request instructions.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data and service. These include access controls, encryption in transit, managed infrastructure, tenant-aware authorization, and monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security. Learn more on our Security page.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on location and relationship, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and may object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify identity and authority. Where we process data for a customer, we may refer the request to that customer. Marketing email recipients can use the unsubscribe option provided.
12. Children
EazePro is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through account registration.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Contact our privacy lead at info@codepaper.com or at the address above.
