Published by EazePro, one of the products compared. How we write comparisons.
Jobber is a serious option for established field-service operations. EazePro is worth evaluating when the immediate problem is keeping leads, customer context, general service work and balances together, with selected tasks available to an external AI assistant. An AI label alone should not decide the purchase.
Compare the actual workflow.

| What to compare | EazePro | Jobber |
|---|---|---|
| Primary decision | General service CRM, order-based operations and external assistant access | Evaluate the documented field-service workflow |
| Current EazePro AI scope | CRM lead writes, notes, follow-ups and operational reads | See linked official documentation for current actions and eligibility |
| AI invoice creation | Not available in the current connector | Demonstrate the exact AI billing action you require |
| Scheduling requirements | Shared application calendar; AI reads only | Test your recurring, capacity and dispatch requirements |
| Buying process | Workflow demo; confirm setup and ongoing pricing | Obtain current plan, add-on and payment-processing terms |
Start with the buying decision
Jobber markets integrated field-service AI including voice tasks, reporting, automations and a receptionist. EazePro’s current AI connector is narrower: selected CRM writes and operational reads. Compare the specific supported action instead of assuming both products mean the same thing by “AI assistant”.
Write down the operational problem before opening either demo. A team losing inquiries needs a different test from a team struggling with dispatch or financial reconciliation. Use one essential requirement and two secondary requirements to keep the comparison grounded in the work.
Compare the workflow with the same customer
Give both products an identical example: a new request with one missing detail, a quote awaiting a response, a booked job and an invoice with a recorded partial payment. Ask the person who will use the product to complete the tasks, rather than watching a polished sales demonstration.
Record which steps are completed in the application, which can be done through AI and which require another tool or a person. Ask to see the saved record after every claimed write. A generated answer can be useful without being proof that the application changed.
- Dispatch and recurring work: demonstrate a busy day with a late change.
- Quote follow-up: distinguish a saved reminder from an automatic customer message.
- AI interface: test the app or assistant your team will actually use.
- Customer money: use a partially paid invoice, not a clean demo balance.
Look beyond the feature checklist
A feature name can hide very different workflows. “Scheduling” could mean viewing a calendar, assigning a technician or automatically reserving capacity. “Follow-up” could mean a personal reminder, a drafted message or an unattended email sequence. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the version your business needs.
Apply the same standard to EazePro. Its current connector can update CRM leads and retrieve operational context. Quote and invoice creation, schedule changes and customer sends remain application work. Its catering and order-based foundation also needs a practical fit check for other service categories.
Compare the full cost and setup effort
Request current written pricing for your number of users and required features. Include payment-processing charges, optional AI products, assistant subscriptions and any other software needed to complete the workflow. Promotional headline prices are not a complete ownership comparison.
Agree on the setup work before starting: customer records to move, open jobs to preserve, invoice history, team permissions and a clear cutover date. Do not assume an automatic migration, a two-way accounting sync or a particular integration without seeing the supported path.
Make the decision after a small pilot
Choose a manageable set of sample or approved business records. Time the tasks that currently cause friction and count the corrections needed. Have another team member retrieve the result to test whether the workflow remains useful beyond the person who entered it.
Choose the product that completes your essential workflow with acceptable effort and cost. If the other platform handles a must-have specialist feature that EazePro cannot demonstrate, that is a meaningful reason to choose it. If EazePro fits the customer and operational workflow you want to run, use the pilot to validate that fit before committing.
